We loved our family trip during the Big Basket festival. The vibrant atmosphere and local crafts added so much joy to our stay. The spacious apartment terrace was perfect for evening chats and relaxing after a day of exploring Tulum.

My kids wished for a few more activities for families.

I really enjoyed the beautiful pool area and the cozy shared kitchen where I cooked a few meals during my stay. There are lovely sun loungers by the pool and ample space for relaxing in the garden. While the Wi-Fi could be a bit spotty at times, it didn’t take away from my great experience. 🌞

The location of the hotel is fantastic, close to everything I wanted to explore. I tried the Gold and Platinum packages for the unique medicines like Bufo, Kambo, and mushrooms. The transformation I experienced was profound, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They created a safe space for deep personal work, which I truly appreciated. However, during my stay, my check-in was a bit chaotic. I arrived to find my room already occupied and was moved without proper notice. This led to an awkward situation where I had to shift rooms the next day. Security was also a concern as my door was left ajar at times, making me feel uneasy. Additionally, while the shared showers were clean, I faced a scary moment when I got stuck inside due to a faulty latch. Prompt attention to security and maintenance would enhance the overall experience.

The location strikes a perfect balance between tranquility and accessibility to town and beach, and I loved connecting with fellow travelers who shared similar goals. However, a bit more variety in dining options on-site would enhance the experience.

Bufo Alvarius offers a wonderful blend of serenity and convenience. The location is central, allowing easy access to both the beach and the town. The staff is exceptional, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and the on-site cafe serves delicious meals. Additionally, the shared kitchen is well-equipped for preparing meals, and the pool is beautifully maintained, providing a relaxing retreat after a long day of work.

I had a wonderful 7-night stay at Bufo Alvarius. The location was fantastic, offering easy access to everything yet providing a peaceful atmosphere. The ceremonies I attended were executed with genuine love and care, making me feel extremely safe. A huge thank you to Mario, Lynne, and Esteban for their excellent facilitation. I also met amazing people, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained.

Amazing vibes and a super chill atmosphere! Loved having air conditioning in the double room and a private bathroom. The spa area with the outdoor swimming pool was perfect for relaxing after biking around. The shared kitchen allowed me to whip up my meals whenever I wanted. Such a great location between Tulum Town and the beach!

Yo, if you're a foodie like me, you gotta check out the nearby eats! Buena Estrella and La Pasadita are where you’ll find some tasty bites. Plus, the vibes at Bufo Alvarius are unmatched—with lush greenery and a chill atmosphere, it really feels like you're in a jungle sanctuary.
